CAPPA Certification Terms *

I understand that this workshop is only step in becoming a CAPPA certified Postpartum Doula. A listing of all certification requirements can be found here https://cappa.net/training-certification/certified-new-parent-educator-cnpe/ I understand that I must be a CAPPA member before I can become certified as a CAPPA New Parent Educator. (You will receive one year of membership with your training registration and you can add additional years at www.cappa.net). I understand that I must enroll in CAPPA Academy in order to complete my certification requirements. I understand that using the titles CNPE or CAPPA Certified New Parent Educator (or any variation thereof) prior to officially earning my certification from CAPPA will result in being disqualified from being certified. I understand that I must be 18 years old to qualify for certification as a CAPPA New Parent Educator.

Training Terms and Conditions *

I understand that Jaquie Dason will share my name and contact information with the CAPPA office. I understand that Jaquie Dason may take pictures or video of the training that include me. I understand that these pictures or video may be used online or in print by Jaquie Dason or CAPPA for promotional purposes. I understand that quotes from my training evaluation may be used online or in print by Jaquie Dason or CAPPA for promotional purposes. I understand that I may not record (audio or visual) the training workshop. I may not photograph the PowerPoint slides, training materials, certificate of completion or any other intellectual property belonging to CAPPA or Jaquie Dason. I understand that I may take photographs during the training only with the express consent of Jaquie Dason and the other participants in the workshop. I understand that I may not post any of the photographs on social media or email them without the express permission of Jaquie Dason and the other participants in the workshop. I understand that none of the photographs may be used for advertising purposes nor sold or distributed to any other party. I understand I may not reproduce, publish or distribute any of the materials in the training manual. I understand that I must attend and participate in all portions and days of the training. If I miss any portions of the training I will not receive a certification of training or contact hours. I understand there is a pre-training assignment that is considered part of the training as well as some "homework" assignments during the training. I understand I must be 18 years old to attend the training.

Refund Policy *

The cost of the training is $700 CAD + applicable taxes. There are no refunds except upon cancellation of the class by the instructor, Jaquie Dason. If Jaquie Dason cancels the class, there will be a 100% refund. I may transfer my registration to another training with Jaquie Dason within 12 months of the original training date with approval from Jaquie Dason and by paying a $75.00 transfer fee. If I fail to transfer to another training within the 12 month period, I understand I will not receive any refund for any monies paid to the instructor, Jaquie Dason.
